Les E. Reardanz


Les Reardanz has spent his legal career as a municipal and maritime attorney in Washington, California (inactive) and, on the federal level, in Washington, DC and various international locations.  As a municipal attorney, he routinely advises senior and elected local and federal government officials on all issues affecting governmental operations, including open government, public records, governance, public contracting, fiscal, environmental (brownfield redevelopment and natural resource damages), real estate, public works, utilities and other similar issues.  As a maritime attorney, he has represented the Navy and private entities on a variety of maritime issues, including collisions, allisions, and maritime contracts.  Les  has significant international law experience, including law of the sea and international humanitarian law.

Les is the former Chief Executive Officer of the Port of Everett as well as a municipal attorney with the City of Bellingham, the Interim Director of the Whatcom Museum and the project manager for the Bellingham waterfront redevelopment.  Les also holds the rank of Rear Admiral as a Navy reserve judge advocate serving as the senior reserve Navy attorney leading over 600 reserve attorneys and paralegals along with serving as the deputy commander of all Navy legal service offices worldwide.
